Kindle drop test

Whenever you purchase an expensive new gadget you dread about dropping it, you take it out of the packaging with care and handle it like a newborn child, but as the novelty wears off and you start using, odds are that you will occasionally drop it – eek!

Now it’s a good to know that just in case you drop your Kindle, your device wont be smashed into a million tiny pieces, to put your mind at ease Amazon did a drop test for the Kindle, now the video has been around for a while, but it hasn’t been posted on this site, so here is the Amazon Kindle drop test from 30 inches (76 cm).

I wish I had seen this before I dropped my Kindle the other day on the cement garage floor. I was practically hyperventilating! $350.00! But all was well. These are tough little critters.

Ya, right. Google DROP KINDLE and look at the actual amazon website and read the comments. No ones survived besides yours so count your lucky stars. Plus the company implied that the kindle may not be functional after the drop but IT WONT SHATTER AND HARM OTHERS AROUND YOU thank goodness. Ya, not buying it now. Spend 500 bucks on the new one and drop it a week later (thats my luck, just bought a new laptop and my three year old got into the cabinent and poor guy dropped it on his foot, shattering the screen. the laptop was three days old) and the company will not refund you any money on their false add video. DO YOUR RESEARCH glad I did.

Mine fell from the bedside table, less than 2 feet high and although the case is undamaged the kindle does not work. I only had it 2 weeks!. What a waste.

Mine also fell from a bedside table and it didn’t physically break but the screen is messed up. Had it less than 3 months. What a colossal waste of money. And I thought I did my homework, researching before deciding on the Kindle as my e-reader of choice.
