Speaking of prices (I couldn’t find a better place to post this and you don’t list an email contact…)

Any idea how and when Amazon decides to discount a book from the “list” price? For a while, it seemed that books listed at 1.00 were crossed out and discounted to .80. But if there is a particular algorithm at work, I can’t discern it…

I actually purchased my Kindle 2 35 days before the price cut. I wrote a short email to Amazon explaining this and within 10 minutes recieved an email back with confirmation that my account had been credited the $60 difference. I have always been impressed with Amazon’s customer service and this was no exception!

Just called Amazon and they processed my refund in about 60 seconds. I bought my Kindle 3 weeks ago.
